Windows Vista and Blackboard
Microsoft recently released Vista, a new version of the Windows Operating System. The advanced Visual Text Box Editor used in Blackboard discussion forums and tests/surveys will not work correctly with Internet Explorer 7 in Vista.
If you are using Windows Vista, Blackboard will work correctly if you use Mozilla Firefox as your browser (download at: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/).
If you prefer to use Internet Explorer 7 with Vista, you must first
use these instructions to disable the Blackboard advanced Visual Text Box Editor feature.
